Any public office that provides services must operate in a “customer first” demeanor. By nature, the Clerk of Courts is a customer service agency, and as elected officials, our customers are the taxpayers we serve. The Clerk of Courts office is made up of many dedicated public servants, but there is always room for improvement. 

When Clerk Davis first took office, the office was closed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for lunch. The lunch hour may very well be the only time hard working Pickaway County residents can make it into their clerk's office. One of his first actions when appointed to the office was to reopen the office for lunch hours and expanded the office's hours further by opening on Saturdays to ensure that every taxpayer can visit the office when they can reasonably be open. 

As well, every staff member, including himself, underwent customer service training to ensure that the office is putting taxpayers first.

Grant Davis was appointed at a time when innovation, technological upgrades and leadership change provide for a great future of the Pickaway County Clerk of Courts office. 

Clerk Davis instituted online imaging services and increased online options for attorneys, the courts and members of the public to increase efficiency and lower costs. By doing so, he eliminated costly paper and online copy policies to lower costs for residents already facing the pinch from inflation and rising costs of living. He is actively working with our County Commissioners to advocate for a 21st Century office that will be the envy of Clerk of Courts offices all across Ohio, which includes a brand-new, state of the art website that residents are utilizing.

Grant is running this office as a conservative. Conservatives believe in things like innovation, serving taxpayers at the highest level, upgrading technology, saving money, and being efficient. He has pledged to be transparent, responsive and open to communication from his constituents. 

Clerk Davis believes in the principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all Americans. He is pro-life, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, and believes in small town values. He will work every day to make Pickaway County a great place to live, work and raise a family.
